Well this post is part of an interview
with Antonio López, director of the department in charge of developing new
materials in the aerospace industry for
Airbus Spain.
Why did you choose to study aerospace engineering?
-Well I chose studying aerospace engineeering
because the willing to investigate in areas such as dinamics, propulsion… And
in general the study of planes.
What would you say to a first year student
of engineering?
-I would say that he has to learn everything he possibly can, absorb all
the knowledge he coul, no miss a conference because in a future it may be
helpful, to be pacient and to work hard everyday.
What do you think the future of the aerospace industry is?
-Develop and study new materials in order to obtain more resistance and more
efficient with less fuel required.
What are the skills do you look forward on a new employee?
On a new employee…. To have the basic knowledge and afterwards having
some tests in order to see how he works on a team and how he is able to express
his ideas.
